This branch of law emerged at the end of the 19th century. Despite the fact that it is a fairly young, it covers many aspects of our life today.

Special attention was given to well-known trademarks and faked goods.
At the end of the lecture the coordinator of University noted that the lecture was very insightful and would like to see IP law be taught as a separate topic in the academic curriculum. It is envisaged that a separate course would be developed for students.
Yuri Bolotov expressed his willingness to hold more specialized lectures in areas such as patents, trademarks and international registration of trademarks.
