The topic of ensuring food security has become one of the key issues in the recent speech of the President of the country Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at an expanded meeting of the Government. Obviously, without a developed agro-industrial complex, it is impossible to ensure the saturation of the domestic market with food products.
The head of state noted that crop productivity in Kazakhstan lags far behind the world. To solve this problem, it is necessary to close another one: the provision of own seeds, which so far averages only 51%.
