Dear Colleagues!
We offer to consider our legal services in the field of intellectual property in near and far abroad countries, including European countries, as well as Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and we would be happy to receive a feedback from you and to know on what issues we could be useful to you.
Unfortunately, currently many companies are in a difficult situation, including the existing restrictions on making transfers abroad, correspondence with foreign companies and etc. Having an existing business, companies want to keep it and eliminate the possible loss of market share.
Now more and more companies are considering Kazakhstan as a country for relocating their business. First, Kazakhstan is convenient and understandable for Russian business – all documents are handled here in the Russian language, the entire legal framework is accessible, and it is easier than in other EAEU countries to interact with government agencies, banks, insurance companies and other organizations. In addition, Kazakhstan has high level of digitalization of processes and interaction with state authorities and courts often takes place online. Registration of a legal entity can also be done remotely. And finally, Kazakhstan is logistically convenient, especially for those who conduct business related to deliveries.
Thus, according to Kazakh Patent Office the number of applications for registration of IP objects in 2022 compared to 2021 and 2020 in Kazakhstan is steadily growing, which shows that business continues to actively develop, including those companies that decided to stop operating in Russia, however would like to stay in other CIS countries.
We will be happy to provide you legal support and advice on trademark and patent registration, parallel imports and anti-counterfeiting, license agreements and franchising and entering IP objects into the customs register.
