Yuri Bolotov, Managing Partner of Bolotov & Partners gave a presentation on the topic: How to protect your trademark when entering the international market? at the 18th China Commodities Fair in Kazakhstan, which was held on 3-5 July at the Atakent Exhibition Centre in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Boosting business development and strengthening trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and China were the main purposes for organizing the exhibition.
During the presentation Yuri Bolotov shared options for trademark registration abroad, told about international conventions regulating intellectual property, gave examples of IP objects also underlined the main point to what should be paid attention to when entering the international market.
The exhibition included a trade and investment forum, B2B negotiations, a seminar-presentation on counterparty verification and consultations of specialists on exporting products to China.
