Dear colleagues and friends,
The year of 2017 is coming to its end. Looking back, we can safely say that despite of all its uncertainties and difficulties the expiring year, was successful and productive.
We would like to share with you our hopes and significant achievements that have taken place this year.
Firstly, we are glad to announce that as a part of our company’s development and improvement of quality of our customers’ services, we have created a new division that provides legal support in the field of information technologies. We closely and carefully monitor the development of IT trends and advise our clients on various issues related to protection of information and in the related fields. As of today, in addition to the existing services, we offer counseling and assistance with creation and various types of transfer of rights to computer programs and databases on licensing agreements, as part of assignments and licences, franchising agreements and other agreements, with legal analyses of restrictions, reservations on the use and sale of goods through the Internet, legal disclaimers, analyses and preparations of company policies related to protection of personal data, mandatory internal rules, etc. (data privacy policy, binding corporate rules).
Secondly, in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice and other State Legislative and Enforcement Agencies we participate and are successful in the huge work on improvement of the legislation in the field of intellectual property. We actively participated in such working groups, in the seminars and trainings for state bodies, associations and organizations of large and medium business, entrepreneurs, strengthened collaboration with media, publishing houses. We would like to thank you for your ideas, offers, for all that helped in development of services throughout this time, and in our return we will try to implement in the new year other ideas that, we hope, will be useful for the protection of intellectual property.
One thing that we are very proud of that Bolotov & Partners was recognized as the best company in the field of intellectual property in Kazakhstan in 2017-2018 by the number of local and international rating agencies. We firmly believe that this victory would be impossible without support of our clients and partners. Thank you for being with us!
The last but not the least is that in 2017 the network of our international contacts was expanded, the new partners and clients appeared in China, Armenia, Italy, Belarus and some other countries. The new clients have entrusted to us their needs and problems in IPR protection in Kazakhstan and in the other countries of the Central Asia of the CIS. We thank them and our correspondents for the trust and wish to join our reliable and efficient and fruitful network which made a reliable basis for expansion of business of our clients!
