Round table «Anti-counterfeiting and unfair competition in Kazakhstan and the countries of Central Asia»

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We invite you to join as a speaker or regular participant in the round table «Anti-counterfeiting and unfair competition in Kazakhstan and the countries of Central Asia», the event dedicated to anti-counterfeiting actions in Kazakhstan and to the 30th anniversary of Bolotov and Partners.

The event will be held on September 24, 2024 at the hotel “Holiday Inn Express” (Almaty, Seifullin St. 597/5).

The main goal of the round table is to discuss issues of combating illegal circulation of industrial products, protecting the market from counterfeits and fake products.

This event will be attended by executives, corporate lawyers, representatives of state bodies, patent attorneys and lawyers practicing in Kazakhstan, Central Asia and some other countries. Among the speakers of the round table are expected representatives of INTA, state officers (Ministry of Justice, State Revenue Committee, etc.), the Union of Patent Attorneys of Kazakhstan, right holders (Lego, Procter & Gamble, Toyota, and others).

This event will be held as an open discussion (round table) with the support of INTA (International Trademark Association) – a worldwide association of right holders and trademark professionals. One of the main goals of the association is to support trademark holders, protect consumers and promote fair and efficient business activities. About 30,000 trademark professionals from almost all counties of the World are members of INTA, including IP specialists of large corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises, law firms and non-profit organizations.

Round table format: hybrid – online (via ZOOM) and offline.

Duration: one day starting from 9.00 to 18.00 with two breaks for coffee and lunch.

Expected number of participants: 500+ (online – up to 500 participants, offline – up to 50 people).

Target audience: top management of companies from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and other countries, patent attorneys, patent experts, representatives of consulting companies and in-house lawyers, state officers.

Working languages: Russian and English.
