Zhanat Nurmagambetov, Partner of our firm was awarded with a badge of honour for Merit in the Fight against Counterfeiting

We are pleased to inform you that Zhanat Nurmagambetov, Partner of Bolotov & Partners has been awarded with a badge of honour for Merit in the Fight against Counterfeiting. The award was established by the International Anti-Counterfeiting Association. The award ceremony took place during the XII International Forum Anti-Counterfeiting-2024, which was held on 5-6 December in Astana.

The main discussion topics of the forum were devoted to the issues of legal and customs regulation, illicit trafficking of medicines, the challenges of e-commerce and the fight against online counterfeiting, product labelling, and the problems of distribution of faked products. The forum was attended by representatives of ministries and agencies, rights owners, research institutes, international and national experts from member states of the Eurasian Economic Forum.

Note: For more than ten years, the Anti-Counterfeiting International Forum has been a central discussion platform within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), where representatives of ministries and agencies of EAEU member states, heads of major companies and organizations, leading international experts in this field, representatives of science and the public have the opportunity to discuss the issues of protecting markets from the illicit trafficking of industrial products, as well as to engage in constructive dialogue and develop joint solutions for the formation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
