Zhanat Nurmagambetov Takes Part in Intellectual Property Trainer Training Program

From October 5 to 9, 2026, the first module of the program “Intellectual Property in Creative Industries and Basic Teaching Methods” was held in Almaty at the Training Center of the KAZPATENT branch. The project is being implemented with the support of the WIPO Academy.

24 specialists — practicing lawyers, patent attorneys, and IP experts took part in the training.

During the program, participants learned about the specifics of protecting and using intellectual property in creative industries, as well as basic teaching methods and approaches to organizing the educational process. On the final day, teams defended their presentations before facilitators, demonstrating the knowledge and skills they had acquired.

Our firm’s partner, Zhanat Nurmagambetov, speaking on his own, demonstrated a high level of knowledge in the field of intellectual property and was awarded the highest score for delivering his presentation and training a broad audience.

Trainer training is a key stage of the project to create a Training Center in Astana and its branch in Almaty on the basis of the KAZPATENT Training Center. The initiative is aimed at improving the IP education system, enhancing the qualifications of specialists, and expanding access to specialized educational programs.

The completion of the first module became an important step toward forming a community of trainers capable of passing on knowledge and practical experience. This creates a foundation for the further development of educational initiatives and the strengthening of Kazakhstan’s expert potential.

For Bolotov & Partners, participation in such a program is an opportunity to strengthen internal expertise and contribute to the development of the intellectual property institution in Kazakhstan. We are proud of our colleague and will continue to support the professional development of our team.
