Bolotov & Partners took part in the TRADEX International Forum

Dear colleagues and partners,

On November 1, 2023 in Almaty the international forum TRADEX was held. Yuri Bolotov, Managing Partner of our firm participated in it and had a speech on International registration of Kazakhstani trademarks.

During the speech he explained what is the intellectual property (IP) of the company, detailed the stages of protection of trademarks in Kazakhstan, the share of national assets in companies in the U.S. and in other countries of the world, gave examples of IP objects, the choice of trademarks and more.

Forum participants also discussed such issues as export of food products from Kazakhstan to China (China Certification & Inspection Group); review of the Kazakhstani coffee market (COFFEE ORIGINAL); Hong Kong as a place of procurement and sales (Invest HK); contract logistics (KTZ EXPRESS JSC); protection and promotion of interests of domestic business in integration processes, development and promotion of non-resource exports, protection of national interests within the WTO and EAEU, support of foreign trade participants in trade disputes, single export database and digitalization, increase in exports, introduction to e-platforms and etc. (Trade Promotion Center “QazTrade ORIGINAL); issues of Pakistan’s logistics framework (TCS); USAID’s Central Asia Trade Program; support measures for Kazakhstani producers of non-resource goods and service providers at foreign markets (KAZAKHEXPORT); franchise promotion in Eurasian Economic Community countries (Melnikov Group) and many others.
