Bolotov & Partners Employees Qualified as Eurasian Patent Attorneys with Specialization in Industrial Designs

Bolotov & Partners is proud to announce that Yulia Lokteva and Yulia Zavalko have successfully passed the qualification exam and received certificates of Eurasian patent attorneys specializing in industrial designs.

Earlier in April this year our colleagues were certified as Eurasian patent attorneys for inventions.

Eurasian patents for inventions and industrial designs are valid in Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, the Republic of Belarus and Azerbaijan. It is necessary to be registered as a patent attorney of one of these countries in order to qualify as a Eurasian patent attorney.

Currently, there are few Eurasian patent attorneys in Kazakhstan, and we are ready to offer our clients services in obtaining Eurasian patents, as well as in relation to other actions related to legal protection of any intellectual property objects in Kazakhstan and other countries.

Yulia Lokteva specializes in trademark and industrial design protection in Kazakhstan and other countries for thirty years; she is engaged in projects on the recognition of trademarks as well-known and participates in court disputes on trademarks.

Yulia Zavalko has more than ten years of experience in copyright cases in Kazakhstan, Russia and the USA, and provides registration and transfer of rights to domain names. In addition, she is a leading specialist in patents for inventions and utility models.

The new qualification will allow our team to expand the range of services offered, including: filing design patent applications with the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO), conducting patent research and examination, and representing clients in patent disputes.
