Bolotov & Partners Takes Part in WIPO Summer School Educational Program
The official opening of the fifth WIPO Summer School (World Intellectual Property Organization) was held at the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan in Almaty. The event was organized by Kazpatent in cooperation with the Academy of Sciences, with the support of WIPO.
As part of the educational program, Zhanat Nurmagambetov, partner at Bolotov & Partners LLP, had a presentation on customs protection of trademark rights – a topic of high relevance for businesses operating in international trade.
This year’s participants included lawyers, entrepreneurs, academics, students, and young professionals. The project has reached an international scale – this year, attendees from Uzbekistan also joined the program.
The course runs for two weeks: the in-person session takes place in Almaty, followed by an online module. All participants who successfully complete the program will receive internationally recognized WIPO certificates.
