Zhanat Nurmagambetov, Partner at Bolotov & Partners made a presentation on Outstanding issues of trademark rights protection in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan at the International Forum Anti-counterfeiting-2022. The Forum was held on September 26-28, 2022 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
At the forum participants discussed outstanding issues related to combating counterfeiting in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan and best practices for developing a brand protection program in the face of changing technologies and the increasing growth of faked products.
The Forum was attended by right owners, state authorities and legal experts.
Note: For the last ten years, the Forum has been an open platform for communication between representatives of international organizations, state authorities, businesses and the public on the most important issues in the field of protecting intellectual property rights, combating illegal trafficking of industrial products, ensuring the legality of food and medical products, technical regulation and product safety, consumer protection, countering violations in Internet commerce, application of customs and antimonopoly measures in the struggle against faked goods.
