Bolotov & Partners has been honored with Excellence Award by WD-40 Manufacturing Company for outstanding achievements in brand protection in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

This annual award is presented by WD-40 Manufacturing Company to the best law firms worldwide for effective work in the field of intellectual property protection. In 2026, the selection was made among more than 40 law firms from various countries. The award was presented to Zhanat Nurmagambetov, a partner at Bolotov & Partners, during the international conference INTA Annual Meeting 2026 held in London in early May. This high recognition is the result of comprehensive and systematic efforts by the entire Bolotov & Partners team to fight the production and distribution of faked products, including close cooperation with the judicial authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

A significant contribution was also the inclusion of WD-40 trademarks in the Customs Register of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which, in collaboration with customs authorities, has strengthened import controls and reduced the volume of counterfeit goods entering Kazakhstan.

In addition, our lawyers regularly conduct training seminars aimed at raising awareness about brand protection, thereby contributing to the overall improvement of intellectual property protection in Kazakhstan.

Thanks to the implemented measures, a significant reduction in the amount of counterfeit products in the country has been recorded.
