Lawyers of Bolotov & Partners took part in the nationwide free-of-charge campaign “People’s Lawyer”, which was held simultaneously in all major cities of Kazakhstan on September 16, 2022. As part of the campaign, our lawyers Zhanat Nurmagambetov and Yuliya Lokteva advised participants on trademark registration, obtaining patents for inventions and utility models, on recent amendments to Kazakhstan IP legislation that entered into force in August 2022, and on effective ways of protecting IP rights against infringements.

Bolotov & Partners continues to actively develop its Pro-bono program, which is a free-of-charge advice program for companies and individuals on matters relating to intellectual property rights protection.

The program is designed for Kazakh and foreign businessmen, commercial organizations and professional associations of legal entities who are not clients of Bolotov & Partners and wish to receive free advice on legal issues relating to the registration and protection of trademarks and patents, trade names and know-how, franchising issues and ways to protecting rights against counterfeiting.
