We are happy to announce that our colleague Damirzhan Amireyev, Senior Associate successfully passed the examination to obtain a certificate of the Patent Attorney of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Damirzhan is an experienced trail lawyer and general practice lawyer with over 15 years of legal practice. The title of patent attorney strengthens Damirzhan’s position in the litigation and confirms his competence in patent disputes and other intellectual property disputes.

His main areas of practice include representing clients in court, in particular, in patent litigations. He also advises clients on intellectual property issues in corporate, labor, commercial law, as well as licensing agreements, trademarks and patents, copyright and related rights.

Currently there are 7 patent attorneys of the Republic of Kazakhstan at Bolotov & Partners, including two Eurasian Patent Attorneys. Our Patent Attorneys among the very first registered patent attorneys in the Republic of Kazakhstan and have more than 30 years of experience in this field.

Note: A patent attorney is a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan who has experience in the field of intellectual property protection and has passed state certification, which entitles him/her to represent foreign and Kazakhstani individuals and legal entities in relations with the national patent office on issues of intellectual property protection.
