We are honored to inform that our colleagues, Yuliya Lokteva and Julia Zavalko, have recently successfully passed the exams and have got the certificates of Eurasian patent attorneys. Now they are ones of only a few Eurasian-qualified patent attorneys who can register inventions and utility models at the regional level in the Eurasian Economic Union in Kazakhstan.

With more than 10 years of professional experience each, Yuliya Lokteva and Julia Zavalko, are focused on supporting clients in filing trademarks and patents and related issues.

Yuliya Lokteva actively works on trademark matters such as well-known trademarks, oppositions and industrial designs registration.

Julia Zavalko primarily deals with patents and registration of copyrights in Kazakhstan, Russia and USA. Julia also focuses on registration, maintaining and assignment of domain names.

The CIS member countries are trying to simplify relationships between state departments as much as possible and create comfortable conditions for business development. Therefore, between Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Russia, Armenia, Belarus and Azerbaijan, citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who have the status of a Eurasian patent attorney can apply for registration of intellectual property, without interacting with patent attorneys of other countries.

Note: A Eurasian patent attorney is a person who has the right of representation before the Eurasian Patent Office. If the applicant wishing to file an application with the Eurasian Patent Office is not domiciled or permanently located in the territory of any Contracting State, he/she must be represented by the Eurasian a patent attorney.

Due to the difficult political situation, in connection with sanctions against the Russian Federation, questions regarding work with the Eurasian Patent Organization (Patent Office) have become more frequent and we invite all parties and companies interested in Eurasian patents to cooperate. This applies to the registration of rights, and patent disputes, and the maintenance of patents in force, and the transfer of rights under licensing agreements and assignment agreements, and all other issues.
